Product Spotlight: Emulsion Pure

When you’re having a skin emergency, you want relief. FAST! But having an arsenal of beauty and first aid essentials with you at all times is not realistic. (My purse is big… but not that big.)

Even when not traveling or on-the-go, no one wants an entire bathroom cabinet filled with odds and ends that they only use once or twice a year. Clutter is the killer of calm and I’d much rather have a few super-efficient, multi-purpose products that I can reach for whenever I’m in a crunch.

Yon-Ka’s Emulsion Pure is one of those multi-action treatments that does everything from heal breakouts to soothe sunburned skin. It’s so versatile because its formula is made of 98% ingredients of natural origin so it’s safe to use on even sensitive and damaged skin.

What exactly is inside? Yon-Ka’s Quintessence. This is a proprietary blend of lavender, rosemary, geranium, cypress and thyme essential oils. These powerful essential oils have both purifying and regenerating properties that can both heal and soothe the skin.

To reap the benefits of this emulsion, first prep skin by cleansing and spraying on Lotion Yon-Ka. Then soak a cotton ball with Emulsion Pure and apply to the area you are treating as a compress. For best results, you’ll want to leave the compress on for ten to fifteen minutes. I personally recommend lying down so that you don’t have to hold the cotton ball against your skin—especially if you are treating multiple spots at the same time. This way you can relax and listen to some music or read a book while the treatment does the work.

Emulsion Pure can also be used on the body and as I mentioned before, is appropriate for treating a variety of skin concerns. It can provide relief after waxing or shaving, to sunburned skin, or even pesky insect bites. If you want to treat a larger area on the body, simply find a larger compress. A gauze pad or clean cloth works just as well as a cotton ball.

While this product is certainly a little medicine cabinet in a bottle, it does have one big benefit that should be highlighted. Emulsion Pure is most known and loved for its ability to treat blemished skin. “The Yon-Ka Emulsion is perfect for my blemishes! I swear, the blemish disappears a day or two after use,” raves one happy customer.

“I have used prescription meds for my acne for three months with little improvement. However, the day after I used this product I have to say I was incredibly pleased,” reads another.

The consensus is clear. Emulsion Pure works wonders to reduce the inflammation associated with acne as well as help speed up the healing time associated with breakouts. If you are actively treating your blemished skin, you can also use Emulsion Pure post-facial for calming the skin after extractions.
