Skin Care Tips

Keep Your Skin Fresh and Radiant When You’re Busy

The truth is, most of us are pretty busy. We balance jobs, our home lives, our social lives, and everything else in between. Unfortunately, taking care of ourselves (including our skin) can take a backseat to all the other things that are going on. To help make things a little easier, we’re sharing a few tips to help you keep your skin looking fresh and radiant even when you’re juggling a busy schedule…

1. Keep travel bottles of your favorite products on hand.

Travel size bottles aren’t just great for traveling, they also come in handy because they’re easy to stash in your purse or store in your desk at work. When you have your favorite skincare products within reach at all times, there’s really no reason not to take care of your skin.

The next time you head to the spa or place an order online, pick up a few of your skincare favorites in travel size. If they aren’t available in travel size bottles already, you can always pick up empty bottles at the drugstore and transfer some of your favorite products into them.

2. Use your relaxation time for a mini facial.

Because our lives can get pretty hectic, we need to make sure we take some time for ourselves. We all deserve a break, right? Whatever you like to do to relax, whether it’s reading a book, watching a movie, or soaking in a bath, you can do a little something for your skin at the same time. Give yourself a mini facial during relaxation time so your face gets the pampering it deserves!  Facial masks are an easy way to care for your skin.  So, not only will your body and mind feel relaxed, your skin will be looking radiant too.

3. Shower right after your workouts.

It’s no secret that showering after a workout is a must (not just because you need to freshen up). It’s good to wash away the sweat and any bacteria you may have picked up if you’re working out at a gym. The next time you wrap up a workout, hit the shower before you leave the gym. Not only will it ensure your skin stays clear, but it will also save you time.

4. Wear SPF daily.

Many women forget to put SPF on in the morning or simply don’t think they need it. We should all be wearing SPF on a regular basis to protect our skin from the harmful rays of the sun. If you want to keep that youthful, radiant skin, SPF is a must.  For optimal sun protection, apply SPF layered over top of your daily moisturizer.  It’s an easy way to prevent aging, and a good habit to get into.
